San Pedro Police is still gathering information regarding an assault that occurred late yesterday evening. Magdalena Chi told police that sometime around 5:00 PM her husband stormed inside her store “Cool Island Clothing,” apparently under the influence of alcohol and started a fight.
Magdalena told police that her husband tried to hit her and at that time ran to a nearby store where she got help. Her husband, 37 year old Geraldo Ack kicked the glass door of the store and sustained injuries. Ack managed to escape after a woman assisted Chi from being hit.
