With sirens wailing through the streets, and people calling the SPSun office to alert of a fire, it was a great surprise when our cameraman showed up to find it was simply a simulation exercise. According to fire chief Jerome Garcia, the fire department’s response time was 7 minutes. Keep an eye out for more exercises such as these – and kudos to the Fire Department on the constant training!!
