According to Jose Mora, President of the Belize National Darts Federation and President of the Caribbean Darts Organization, the local tournament is just one of many that have been organized in various parts of the country to scout for the best darts players. “Events like these will help us to identify possible candidates that can be members of the official Belize Darts Team that will travel next year to represent the country in the USA. Belize is preparing for the Caribbean’s Darts Cup and America’s Darts Cup which will be held in Tampa, Florida USA in 2014. We are happy that the San Pedro Darts Club is supportive of the sports and the Lions Club for providing the venue as well as sponsorship to this particular event,” commented Mora.
