During the Christmas holidays, many organizations on the island brought joy to the less fortunate children and residents of the Ambergris Caye. The season of sharing and giving, once again brought people together and sprinkled the love of Christmas. On Wednesday, December 23rd, the San Pedro Community Policing Unit, along with Britney O’Daniel from the San Pedro Food Bank, shared the Christmas cheer with as many residents as possible and distributed gifts and food.Police Cadets Food Bank Toy Drive-3
According to PC Juan Chuc from the Community Policing Unit, following a successful toy drive, the distribution of presents and food for families took place in the areas of San Juan, San Pedrito, and DFC. PC Chuc stated that it was yet another successful event which they plan to continue doing year after year. But he reiterated that special recognitions must be given to all the people who make such a charitable function possible.Police Cadets Food Bank Toy Drive-7
