At 2:30pm, Sunday, July 17th, San Pedro Police responded to a report of a stabbing incident at King David apartments in San Pedro Town. According to reports, there was a family altercation where Orlando Estrada was stabbed.
According to Police, Elton Polonio intervened in the aforementioned dispute, where Estrada alleged to strike Polonio in the head with a pint bottle. In response, Polonio pulled out a knife and stabbed Estrada in the left side of the chest.
Estrada was rushed to a private clinic and later was transported to Belize City, via Wings of Hope. Estrada is listed in serious but stable condition.
Police continue to investigate.
