The Island Academy did not disappoint the school’s guests for their annual Christmas Pageant that took place on Wednesday December 12th. The 17th annual Christmas Pageant was held under the theme “Christmas Wish List to Santa Clause,” and as expected, brought much fun, laughter and enjoyment to those in attendance. The highly anticipated concert started with a grand entrance by the entire school, followed by a beautiful and touching personal wish list letter to Santa Clause from Wilema Alamilla, the school’s administrator.

During the hour long show, there were excellent performances such as song, dance, music and a main skit all highlighting the main message of caring, sharing and spreading love and cheer during the Christmas season. Speaking to The San Pedro Sun Lady Dixie Bowen explained that while it is always a special event, the show is geared to bring across the true meaning of Christmas. Lady Bowen said that while having fun, the students as well as the teachers invested a lot of energy and time in preparing the best possible performance for the parents and community as a special gift. From the start to the end of the show, the use of props and costume, combined with the performance of the students, surely captured the attention of all.

Following the well attended show, those in attendance had the opportunity to enjoy cocktails and a delicious meal. At the end of the event, the management and staff of The Island Academy took the opportunity to wish the students, parents and the invited guests a safe and enjoyable Christmas and a prosperous New Years.
