A fundraiser event to benefit the paediatric unit of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City and San Pedro’s Rotary Gift of Life Foundation has been scheduled for Saturday, November 26th at the Acquafino Island Resort and Spa. Titled ‘Fashion Your Heart under the Stars,’ the event will comprise of a concert, an international fashion show, an exclusive lingerie show and an after party with DJ DZL.
The show is scheduled to start at 5PM and transportation to the resort begins at 4:30PM from The Boat Yard in San Pedro Town. The general admission fee/donation is $120 per person which includes dinner and the show. There is also an option for the VIP section, which comes at a cost/donation of $5,000. This price covers between 9 to 15 persons, dinner for everyone, the show, private server and drinks for the entire night. The VIP section is very limited, so interested parties are encouraged to make their bookings in advance.
The evening festivities will showcase the latest creation of top designers Martin Lopez and Guillermo Alayon from Merida, Mexico. The repertoire will also include guitarist and vocalist Giselle O’Brien, and Belizean songstress Tanya Carter. The after party will showcase a lingerie show by Star’s Island Fantasy.
Paradise Guy Productions is organizing the event of which, all proceeds, including cash bar sales and photo booth contributions, will go towards the cause. Organizers plan to make this an annual event, and hope to raise enough funds to acquire much needed medical equipment and services for both charitable institutions this year.
Patrons attending the event are encouraged to take cash instead of using credit cards. The cash transactions speeds up the delivery of funds to the assigned charity partners.
