 
On March 24th, 1998, the San Pedro Town Board donated new football jerseys to the San Pedro Roman Catholic School football team and an assortment of other sports equipment. Principal of the R.C. School, Mrs. Maria Lanza, said that she was thankful to the Town Board for all the help they have given and continue to give to the school. She would also like to thank other people in the community who have made contributions. The R.C.'s football team is presently competing in the Bishop Martin Cup championship. The R.C. School won the game played against St. Peter's Elementary on March 22nd, and will travel to Caye Caulker this weekend to challenge Caye Caulker's R.C. School.
