Fundraiser for island resident after freak accident leaves her injured

Ana Cruz, a resident of the Elliot Sub-division in San Pedro Town, was the victim of a tragic accident just outside her home on August 8th. In the unexpected mishap, Cruz’ right hand was badly injured, and she lost three of her fingers. Her recovery has been painful and up to now, no one has been held liable.

Another exciting MMA Beach Brawl on Ambergris Caye

Caribbean Villas was the place to be on Saturday, August 24th, as the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event Beach Brawl 2 brought excitement to the night. Organized by the San Pedro Fight League (SPFL), the anticipated event saw fighters from Mexico, Argentina and Belize competing Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, and MMA.
