Holiday Hotel’s annual Halloween Celebration brings another epic bash

The biggest annual Halloween celebration in Belize was once again celebrated at the Holiday Hotel in San Pedro Town. Held on Saturday, October 26th, the anticipated party featured islanders dressed in a variety of spectacular and elaborately creative costumes. As every year, attendees competed for fabulous prizes with their craziest, creepiest, elegant, spectacular and most creative outfits.

Dana Reyes is Miss Garifuna San Pedro 2019-2020

16-year-old Dana Reyes was elected the new Miss Garifuna San Pedro 2019-2020 during the pageant on Saturday, October 26th. Held at the Lions Den in San Pedro Town, the pageant saw four lovely young ladies vying for the coveted title in an event that showcased the Garifuna culture, traditions, dances and even their contributions towards Belize.

National Police Statistics register a decrease in major crimes from January to September 2019
