Belize Government Signs Development Cooperation Agreement with APEX for Digital Transformation of Courts in Belize

Hon. Magali Marin Young, Attorney General of Belize, today signed a memorandum of understanding with APEX, the Caribbean Agency for Justice Solutions, to collaborate on the strengthening of systems to support the courts and the office of the Attorney General.

Prime Minister visits San Pedro ahead of municipal elections; UDP slate presents manifesto

The campaign trail continues in San Pedro Town with both slates of the People’s United Party (PUP) and the United Democratic Party (UDP) making final preparations for the upcoming Municipal Elections on Wednesday, March 3rd. On Friday, February 26th, Prime Minister Honourable John Briceño landed on San Pedro to support the PUP slate ahead of the big day. Meanwhile, the UDP group launched their manifesto early the same day.

San Pedro Town sign gets finishing touch

San Pedro Town will soon have an official sign adding to the beach's aesthetic at Central Park. Works on the project have been swift, with just minor details left to be done. According to the San Pedro Town Council, the sign is a joint initiative in partnership with the island's business sector.
