Inter-Office Football Week 5 Delivers Competitive Matches

Week 5 of the Inter-Office Football Tournament brought another weekend of competitive action to Ambergris Stadium on October 3rd and 4th. Pro Divers, Costa Blu, Mahogany Bay, and Tropic Air secured victories on the opening night, while Sunday’s matches featured several keenly contested encounters and decisive wins.
Saturday’s games began at 6PM, with Pro Divers defeating Hol Chan Marine Reserve 2–0. Costa Blu followed with another 2–0 victory over Hyde’s, while Mahogany Bay faced a tougher challenge against X-Site before securing a narrow 1–0 win.
The final match of the evening saw Alaia F&B take on Tropic Air. Despite their efforts, Alaia F&B could not break through Tropic Air’s defense. Tropic Air capitalized on two scoring opportunities to finish with a 2–0 victory.
On Sunday, Victoria House opened with a strong performance, defeating M&B 3–0. Ramon’s Village then faced Captain Shark’s in a match that ended in a decisive 4–0 victory for Captain Shark’s. Defensive errors proved costly for Ramon’s Village, allowing their opponents to take control.
San Pedro Town Council also suffered a setback, surrendering an early lead as Altamar fought back to claim a 2–1 win.
Following a short break, Sandy Point took on Chuck N Robbies, who had struggled in recent weeks. However, Chuck N Robbies turned things around, taking a 1–0 lead into halftime.
They maintained their momentum after the break, scoring twice more to extend their advantage to 3–0. Sandy Point pushed for a comeback and pulled one goal back, but Chuck N Robbies held on to secure a 3–1 victory.
Alaia and Aruna delivered another closely contested match. After a scoreless first half, both teams found the net after the break, bringing the score to 2–2.
With the match approaching its final moments, an Aruna forward scored the decisive goal. Aruna held on for a dramatic 3–2 victory.
The final game of Week 5 featured Caribbean Depot against Bowen and Bowen. Caribbean Depot scored in the first half to take a 1–0 lead into the break. Despite efforts from both teams in the second half, neither added to the score, giving Caribbean Depot a hard-fought victory.
With the quarter-finals approaching, the tournament continues this weekend with Week 6 matches at Ambergris Stadium.
