Holiday Hotel and La Sanpedrana Restaurant hosted their annual Halloween party on Saturday, October 24th, under the theme “Terror in Town.” The celebration featured a costume competition, sponsored prizes, and music from DJs Jash, Chabo, and Dev.
Eiden Salazar served as master of ceremonies, continuing in the role for more than a decade. The costume competition recognized creativity, presentation and humor, with participants competing across several categories.
An owl costume won Most Creative, earning $1,000 cash and a Blue Hole tour for two from Amigos Del Mar. Pumpkin Waiter won Scariest, receiving $500 and two Tropic Air round-trip tickets between Belize Municipal Airport and San Pedro. 
The Silent Hill 3 nurses won Best Group, taking home a sailing trip for 12 from Xsite Sailing Belize, four cases of Belikin from Bowen and Bowen, and a $50 Celi’s Deli certificate. The Crowd’s Favorite prize included sunset sailing for four from Searious Adventures and two cases of Belikin.
The Princess costume won Most Elegant, receiving three months of premium Ignite TV Play from Coral Cable Vision and a Happy Island certificate. A pumpkin skull face mask won Best Makeup, earning $100 from Zyva Beauty and $75 from Love Belize. The Phoenix won Best Onstage Performance, receiving an overnight stay for two at Corona Del Mar and $75 from Wayo’s.
Manager’s Favorite prizes included Holiday Hotel stays for two, paired with either a $100 lunch at Gillies Pour House or a $100 dinner at La Sanpedrana. Lisa’s Favorite received a three-month membership at Train Station Gym and a Vibez certificate. The Funniest prize included a gift basket and a $50 certificate.
Cookie Monster won Sexiest, receiving $100 from Sunset Lounge and $50 from Vibez. A sexy clown costume won Best Clown and earned $75 from Casa Pan Dulce.
Organizers spent months planning and preparing for the event. Judges included reigning Miss San Pedro Elizabeth Grace Sanchez, Miss San Pedro 2021 Grace Brown, and Eiden Salazar.
