Press Release – Tropic Air – Monday, November 14, 2011-  On Monday, November 14, 2011, Tropic Air announced   that it would be inaugurating twice daily non-stop service between San Pedro and the Orange Walk Town’s Tower Hill Airstrip, on December 15, 2011. With the launching of this service and the opening of its new station there, Tropic Air will now be the only airline in Belize to operate scheduled flights to ALL six districts.

The new service is a direct response to requests from its valued customers, and carries through on the airline’s stated commitment to the people of Belize. It will not only serve to make travel between San Pedro and Orange Walk easier, but will allow for the expansion of tourism into the Orange Walk District.

“When we expanded Belmopan and launched Guatemala City this year, we also promised that we would keep growing. This fulfills that promise, and now we promise that there is even more to come. Orange Walk (Tower Hill) is an integral part of the growth strategy for Tropic Air and as such we feel it important that we link the expanding areas of the sugar belt with our home in San Pedro” said John Greif III, President of Tropic Air. “We are continuously seeking new and innovative routes that promote tourism, business, domestic travel and cargo within Belize. Orange Walk is just such a destination for the Airline of Belize”
