The Ministry of Food and Agriculture is pleased to announce that a total of 241 heads of cattle from Blue Creek, Orange Walk were officially exported to Mexico on September 1, 2020 via the northern border.
The company responsible for the importation is SuKarne. The exportation was successful as a result of the collaboration between the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the Blue Creek Livestock Farmers, the Livestock Marketing Association, the Cattle Export Committee, the Belize Agricultural Health Authority and the Belize Livestock Producers Association.
The Ministry thanks all partners who have helped in achieving this milestone and encourages the continuous development of the industry. The Ministry remains committed to facilitating trade and increasing exports for Belize.
