Office of the Prime Minister Names CEO in the Ministry of Economic Development

The Office of the Prime Minister is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Amilin Mendez as the Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Economic Development.
Ms. Mendez holds a Master’s of Science in International Trade Policy with Specialization in Trade in Services and Market Access of Goods and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of the West Indies. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management at the University for International Cooperation. Ms. Mendez has substantial experience in national and regional project development with a special interest in education and private sector driven investment.
The new CEO will support the efforts of the Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño who is the substantive minister in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment, and ministers of state, Hon. Michael Espat and Hon. Christopher Coye.
