The Belize Tourism Industry Association would like to take this opportunity to humbly extend an invitation to the media to attend our 2012 Real-time Marketing Masterclass – Marketing & PR Summit. The one day summit will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 23rd, 2012 at the Princess Hotel & Casino.
Real -Time Marketing Masterclass features (3) 90 minute presentations, with a panel discussion after each segment, which will include discussions with successful industry stakeholders (both local and international), providing added insight in the on three main subject areas including; Content marketing, Real-Time Marketing & PR, and Social Media.
The goal of this seminar is to enlighten the participants on how to harness the power of online marketing and public relations comparing these to our current practices and seeing how we can develop a stronger efficiency on both. With this being said, we have hired renowned speaker and published author: Mr. David Meerman Scott, who has presented at industry conferences and events in over twenty countries, was once the VP of marketing for two publicly traded technology companies and was Asia’s Marketing Director for Knight-Ridder, at the time one of the world’s largest newspaper and electronic information companies.
We have gathered a superb team of moderators and panelists to assist in facilitating each segment of Mr. Scott’s Masterclass. These include Mr. Javier Gutierrez of Black Rock Lodge who will be the moderator for the Content Marketing segment and will feature panelists such as Mrs. Lucy Fleming of The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Mr. Demian Solano of Idealab Studios, Ms. Alyssa Carnegie of the Belize Tourism Board and Mr. Kevin Kriehn of BVK.
The Real-Time Marketing and PR segment will see Ms. Marleni Cuellar of Channel 5 Belize as moderator and Dr. Dionne Miranda Chamberlain of Belize Telemedia Limited, Ms. Yanick Dalhouse of BVK/Mecca, Mrs. Valerie Woods of CHUKKA Belize and Mr. Shepard Doniger of JG Blackbook of travel as panelists.
The final segment, Social Media, will have Ms. Indira Craig of United Airlines as moderator and Mr. Richard Beane of Belize Internet Marketing & Web Design, Mr. Kevin Kriehn of BVK, Mr. James Scott of the Radisson Fort George Hotel & Marina, Mr. Dorian Nunez of Ambergristoday.com and Ms. Erin de Santiago-Domue of No Checked Bags as panelists.
