Yesterday, October 1st marked an important date for fishermen throughout Belize: the Opening of conch season.
During the months of June to October, the conch harvesting season is closed to protect the species to allow them to spawn and replenish stock. Now you can enjoy all the great conch dishes! The season runs from October 1st to July.
