Salvador Figueroa receives the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle

Mr. Salvador Figueroa was awarded 16 July 2009 the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle (Orden Mexicana del Aguila Azteca en Grado de Banda), in a ceremony held at the Embassy of Mexico in Belmopan. The Government of Mexico awarded the Order to Mr. Figueroa, in recognition of his diplomatic work performed during his tenure at the Embassy of Belize in Mexico in strengthening the relations between both countries and also as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Mexico. On behalf of the Mexican government, the Ambassador of Mexico, Luis Manuel Lopez-Moreno, gave the Order to Mr. Figueroa.
