Artist Chris Emmanuel paints new mural at MSU
Saturday, July 2nd, 2011
Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU), officially unveiled their brand new Diversity Mural, which was done by artist – and The San Pedro Sun guest columnist – Chris Emmanuel. Emmanuel was joined by students during the four days it took to turn the wall into a gorgeous work of art.
The piece is titled “A Cycle of Life”, and depicts students’ journey through school, leaving, and traveling throughout the world. In mid-June, Chris left Ambergris Caye for Minnesota to do the painting. The mural is located in the atrium of the Wigley Administration Building.
