Happy 27th Anniversary of Township Day San Pedro!

November 27th is the official date of celebration for San Pedro’s Township Anniversary. 2011 marks 27 years since San Pedro was declared a town, and to mark this occasion, a fun parade was held starting on the newly inaugurated Laguna Drive all the way to Central Park.

The day included two momentous occasions, including the official opening ceremonies for the inauguration of the recently completed Laguna Drive, and the renaming of the Boca Del Rio bridge to the Sir Barry Bowen Bridge.

After the ribbon cutting and several heartfelt speeches, it was time to hit the roads for the official parade. Below are just a few of the photos of the day’s events…
