Flor Ancona’s Carnaval Group hosts Valentine’s Dinner Dance
Wednesday, February 19th, 2014
Carnaval Season is on its way and already some of the comparsas groups have begun fundraising for the big days of March 2nd-4th. On Saturday February 15th, Flora Ancona’s Carnaval group held a Valentine’s Dinner Dance at the Lions Den in an effort to raise funds for their group.
The Den was beautifully decorated and catering by Orchid Tree Culinary Specialties was delicious. Following the dinner, Mj’s Vibrations Band got the crowd going with lively tunes that brought everyone to the dance floor.
The group would like to thank everyone who came out to support the dinner/dance and encourages the public to come out and have a great time at the first ever Miss Carnaval pageant. The pageant will be their next fundraising event and is sure to be a great time. Set your calendars for Friday February 21st at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium.
