San Pedro Traffic Department receives donation
Thursday, July 3rd, 2014
On Monday, June 23rd the San Pedro Traffic Department (SPTD) received a donation from Wolfgang Wind. The generous gift came in the form of a STOP sign equipped with LED lights, a Bushnell Speed Screen and a Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun equipped with a tripod stand. The donation was presented to Mayor Daniel Guerrero and Head of the SPTD Chris Nuñez.
According to Nuñez, the addition of these items to the current arsenal of traffic control equipment will be used to improve road safety and control speeding on the island. The Bushnell Speed Screen displays current measurements, most recent readings and fastest speeds recorded from the Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun.
The San Pedro Town Council and Traffic Department would like to thank Wolfgang Wind for this most generous donation.
