On hand to receive the donation was Officer in Charge of the San Pedro Police Department Superintendent Luis Castellanos and Officer in Charge of the Caye Caulker Police Department Inspector Jesus Palma.Helmets Donated San Pedro Caye Caulker Police-1
According to Nuñez, the donation was made after he noticed that both police departments had recently acquired motorcycles, but lacked proper helmets. Since it is the law that all persons driving a motorcycle, motorbike or an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), the helmets were urgently needed by both police departments. “I hope that this donation only serves to improve police response in keeping our two islands safe. As part of the community, I always want to try to assist the police when they need it,” said Nuñez.Helmets Donated San Pedro Caye Caulker Police-2
