Fundraiser for National Garifuna Council San Pedro Branch
The National Garifuna Council San Pedro Branch (NGCSPB) will be hosting their second food sale fundraiser on Saturday, October 15th at the Central Park. Starting at 11AM, you can purchase staple Garifuna staple dishes such as hudut for $10, and boil-up for $12. Rice and beans will also be available for $7 and up The NGCSPB asks for the community’s support to help them fundraise for their upcoming festivities planned for Garifuna Settlement Day (Saturday, November 19th).
The council will like to thank Mayor Daniel Guerrero, the San Pedro Town Council (SPTC) Events Committee, the members of the NGCSPB, and all those who have donated to make past sales a success. The council is inviting everyone to purchase lunch for a worthy cause. See you there!
Belize Audubon Urban Bird Watching in San Pedro
The Belize Audubon Society invites everyone in San Pedro to come and learn about the birds in your area. No need to register, just show up at Central Park at 6AM on Sunday the 16th.
