Letter to the Editor: San Pedro Lobster Fest says thanks

Share

On behalf of the San Pedro Lobster Festival Committee we would like thank everyone who helped make San Pedro Lobster Fest 2017 a huge success and express our heartfelt appreciation for the continued contributions and support of the community.
We would also like give special thanks to the Belize Tourism Board, San Pedro Town Council and Bowen & Bowen Ltd. for your continued financial support which helps make the festival possible . Our appreciation goes out to Sun Breeze Hotel for accommodating the performers for the steel band. We thank David Marin for being our gracious MC every year. Thank you to Atlantic Bank Ltd. for allowing us every year to use their space.
Next a big thank you to all of the businesses that participated in the passport crawl and the block party. These businesses make us proud every year by hosting fun events and serving creative lobster dishes.
Our Lobster Crawl Raffle is possible through the kind donations received from our business community who sponsor gifts for the following year’s give-a- way package. We are grateful for these donations each year.
Finally we would like to thank our crew and volunteers for all of their hard work throughout the year but especially all of the time they give in the weeks leading up to the festival.
Our goal every year is to bring more tourism to the business community as well as hosting a festival that the entire community can enjoy. We thank you all for making it a successful event.
Dates for next year’s festival will soon be announced and do make sure to confirm your spaces at an early date. Looking forward to 2018’s festival.
See you next year!
