Sponsored Submission: Santa Forgot about us?

Share

Santa has forgotten about our streets. We can only pray that in the New Year the official institutions remember us. Remember that there are many residents walking every day through unhealthy waters. Streets where even golf carts and other vehicles get stuck. Areas where residents live in fear that in the holes in the streets, which already look like lagoons, they will have an encounter with the crocodiles that have begun to feel so comfortable in our streets.
Ambergris Caye, one of the tourist destinations par excellence in Belize, begins the high season with streets in very poor condition to access both the north and the south of the island. But above all, these are the conditions of the streets that our children have to walk on every day to go to their homes and schools.
Santa has forgotten about our streets this Christmas. We can only hope that 2025 will bring the residents of Ambergris Caye better and healthier living conditions.
If you feel that Santa also forgot your street you can send your photos and comments to: [email protected]
