On Wednesday, August 19th, Rain Restaurant and Rooftop Terrace, located north of San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, celebrated its tenth anniversary with a special gathering of guests. The occasion brought together stakeholders from the island’s tourism industry at the popular rooftop restaurant for an evening of networking, food, drinks, and live music.
From 5-7PM, guests were welcomed and guided to their tables, where they received special 10% discount coupons valid at the restaurant for the next six months. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were also served throughout the evening. The food selection included firecracker shrimp, lobster fritters, fish cakes, and Argentinian empanadas, while specialty cocktails included a Creole Peach Smash and Passion Fruit Mai Tai.
Attendees representing tour operators, restaurateurs, and other sectors of the tourism industry thanked Rain for the invitation and the enjoyable evening, which also featured live steel pan music.
