Louis Carter officially charged for shooting Dwayne Hyde

23-year-old Louis Manuel Carter was officially arrested and charged on Thursday, July 14th in relation to a shooting incident which 30-year-old Dwayne Hyde was injured. According to San Pedro Police, Carter was positively identified by the victim leading to his swift detention.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, July 13th saw two male persons reportedly entering the yard of 22-year-old Kimberly Humes; one of them was identified as Carter, and getting involved in an altercation with Hyde. The altercation resulted in Hyde being shot in his abdomen.
Carter was subsequently charged for the crime of “Grievous Harm” and “Attempted Murder”. He was immediately remanded to the Belize Central Prison to await his first court hearing.
