Four islanders detained for possession of cocaine

A group of island residents was detained after 127 grams of suspected cocaine was found at a residence in the San Pedrito Area.

On Tuesday, January 19th, police conducted a search at the residence of 46-year-old Graciela Santoya. Present at the time were 27-year-old Luis Santoya, 29-year-old Denia Diaz, and 39-year-old Miguel Aragon. According to the police report, the search led to the discovery of a black plastic inside the toilet tank, which contained four small transparent plastic bags with suspected cocaine. After weighing the suspected substance, it totaled 127 grams.

All four persons were detained for the possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. They were taken to the San Pedro Police Station and are expected to be served with charges.
