Beachside Resort Reception Office Robbed

The San Pedro Sun has confirmed that a beachside resort south of San Pedro Town was robbed this afternoon, January 21st.

According to the owner of the hotel, an unknown male individual came to their office in the morning looking for a job. The same individual returned to the office at approximately 4:30PM and presented himself as armed with a gun. The two receptionists working the front desk surrendered their cell phones and a substantial amount of cash, with included payroll and petty cash. The robber then made good his escape.

The San Pedro Police were quick to respond to their emergency call, and using Global Positioning System (GPS) from the stolen phones police were able to apprehend one person. It is believed that up to three people may have been involved in the robbery.

The owner of the resort confirmed that at no time were their guests safety compromised, and no one but the office employees were aware of what had transpired.

Currently two persons are in custody and police continue their investigation.
