SP Lions Queen Pageant on Saturday

Share

The San Pedro Lions Club will be choosing their queen on Saturday. The format for choosing their queen was changed this year. Where before a deserving young lady was simply chosen to represent the club, the SP Lions have chosen to go the way of an actual pageant. The club will be holding the beauty pageant on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the San Pedro Lions Den starting at 7:00 PM. Five beautiful young ladies have been training for several weeks and will be vying for the San Pedro Lions’ Queen crown. The young and talented contestants are Nayeli Puc, Thalia Blanco, Solanie Graniel, Jordana Segura and Shantell Pascascio.

The contestants will be judged in four different categories including an introductory dance, talent segment, sportswear and an evening gown presentation, followed by a question and answer session. As part of their experience, the young ladies were treated to a trip at the World’s famous Blue Hole sponsored by Amigos del Mar Dive Shop and a photo shoot at the Victoria House courtesy of Geraldo Badillo Photography. Beside their individual prizes, the winner will be crowned Miss San Pedro Lions Queen and will have the opportunity to tour the country and travel along with the Club at International events.

Cover charge for the event on Saturday is $5.00 for general admission and $10.00 reserve. Food and drinks will be available and a dance will follow.
