Fido’s Courtyard hosts Costa Maya sashing ceremony

It was a sultry night under the biggest palapa on the island as the Reina de la Costa Maya contestants graced Fido’s Courtyard with their presence. Fido’s hosted the eight beauties to a delicious dinner and refreshing beverages, after which they presented themselves and received their official sash to be used throughout the rest of their stay.
From the littlest visitor to lucky revelers, there was a photo opportunity at every turn. Each of the beauties danced, posed and smiled for the camera, and was enthusiastic in expressing excitement for Belize. The contestants from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama have a full schedule of exciting events that will lead right up to the pageant on Thursday, August 7th.
