Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015
Trinidadian star, DJ Private Ryan rocked Ambergris Caye, entertaining the Belizean masses at the highly anticipated Island Invasion. Party lovers from across the country flocked to Fido’s Courtyard on Saturday, November 28th for Island Invasion’s King of the Island Birthday Bash for a truly spectacular music and dance affair. The top DJs of Belize, along with feature performer DJ Private Ryan, kept the massive crowd dancing until the wee hours of Sunday, November 29th.
Those lucky ticket holders who purchased their admission prior to the event skipped the long lines when the gates opened shortly after 10PM. General admission tickets purchased before the event went for $40, while tickets purchased at the door were $50. Of course a limited number of attendees opted for the VIP admission of $80, which allowed them access to a reserved area and bar.
The night featured the musical stylings of DJ Jago, Air Invasion, Evolution Sounds, Fayah Statah Sounds, and DJ Odyssey, with systems being provided by Royal Sound Entertainment. The dance floor was kept packed all night as everyone danced the night away to the best of old and new school soca, dancehall, club, reggae and pop hits.
But the energy level was really taken up a couple notches when DJ Private Ryan took his spot at the tables. The crowd cheered him on as he played tracks after tracks. “This crowd was amazing. I’s super happy for the love I felt from all my Belizean fans. I’m glad everyone enjoyed my performance and this will definitely not be the last,” commented DJ Private Ryan after his set.
The competitions and giveaways topped of the night, as lucky winners walked away with great prizes.
King of the Island Promotions would like to thank all those who made this event possible including: Belikin Beer, Cuello’s Distillery, Fido’s Courtyard, San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi, Tropic Air, Coral Cable Vision, The San Pedro Sun and Amigos del Mar Dive Shop.
