An Enchanted Night at SPHS Prom 2016
Friday, June 10th, 2016
Under the theme ‘An Enchanted Night,’ the senior students of the 2016 class of San Pedro High School (SPHS) held their annual Prom Night on Thursday, June 9th at the beautifully decorated El Patio Restaurant and Lounge.
The glitz and glamour of the annual celebration drew a large crowd of onlookers near the venue, hoping for a glimpse of the elegant graduates and their dates.
A section of Barrier Reef Drive was closed off to traffic, giving ample space for glamorous arrivals and the crowd of onlookers.
Couples walked the lengthy purple carpet, providing the ideal opportunity for spectacular entrances, while family and friends cheered them on their memorable night. It was a most fashionable spectacle: beautiful girls in sparkling gowns in every color of the rainbow, and handsome boys in their well-tailored suits.
Following the carpet entrance, the graduates mingled and danced to the tunes of DJ Smallz and DJ Mauricio inside El Patio Restaurant.
As the celebration neared its end, several awards were presented.
Best Dressed Male: Victor Ack
Best Dressed Female: Kirsty Arnott
Best Entrance: Marleni Diaz
Best Couple: Andrea Valencia and Julius Nuñez
And, the highly anticipated honors of Prom Queen and King 2016 went to: Elladira Garcia and Edley Godoy.
The SPHS Class of 2016 will be marching down the aisle to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance on Saturday, June 11th at the Auditorium. Congratulation SPHS Class of 2016!
