The 3rd Annual Belize Fashion Week is set to take place from July 9-12 in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye and promises to bring nights of glamour, glitz and beauty. The event will feature Belizean models showcasing lines from local and international designers. But it’s not all about fashion, Belize Fashion Week will also have top of the line entertainment for a fabulous three-night extravaganza.
The event will start on Thursday, July 9th with the Social Night at the Caprice Bar at Holiday Hotel. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet the designers and models during a fun cocktail party. On Friday, July 10th, the glamorous runway show takes place at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium. The event will include giveaways and guest performance by Belizean Artist Denise Castillo. The runway show continues on Saturday, July 11th, followed by an epic after party with international award winning DJ Geraldo. Finally on Sunday, July 12th the event closes with the Trunk Expo Show taking place at the Central Park, where the general public will have the opportunity to purchase the designers’ products.
Belize Fashion Week will feature 12 Belizean designers and 52 Belizean models, along with three international designers: Erick Bendaña from Nicaragua showcasing his Metamorfosis collection, Arlene Martin from Jamaica showcasing his Drennal Lunna collection, and Luis Barahona from El Salvador showcasing elegant evening wear. This year’s event will be hosted by Julianie Ferguson, and overseeing the show will be the Fashion Show team which comprises of Pat Greif (Executive Producer), Carlos Barrientos (Key Make-Up Artist), Deli Eiley (Assistant Director), Gerry Badillo (Marketing Director), and Zuzana Mello (Choreography Director).
The Belize Fashion Week team invites everyone to join them for this glamorous event, where everybody will surely be delighted with authentic Belizean fashion and jewelry designers. Tickets for the show are now available at Foreva Fancy Boutique and Holiday Hotel in San Pedro, and LA Fashion Boutique and J’adore Boutique in Belize City. The price for a two- day passes ranges from $90 for VIP, $40 for General and $15 for high school students.
