New Ambassador of Republic of China (Taiwan) Presents Credentials to the Governor General of Belize

H. E. Remus Li-Kuo Chen presented his Letters of Credence as the new ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to H.E. Sir Colville Young, Governor General of Belize.

The Ambassador conveyed his country’s greetings and well-wishes to the Governor General and people of Belize. He expressed on behalf of his country their gratitude for the invaluable support and friendship shown by Belize to Taiwan on international issues. The Ambassador said that it is the hope of his government to continue to enhance ties of cooperation and goodwill with Belize. The Governor General graciously received the credentials of H.E. Chen and expressed his hope for continued cooperation and a strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Ambassador Chen is the successor of Ambassador H.E. Charles Liu whose term in Belize ended in October 2018. Ambassador Chen was accompanied by his wife and members of the Embassy of Taiwan in Belize.
