Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation 100-Day Plan Progress Report

The Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation is pleased to announce its achievements since November 2020.
The Ministry has successfully commenced the establishment of a Policy and Planning Unit to guide the process of developing the Ministry’s five-year strategic plan. Additionally, the Ministry will develop policies to facilitate the implementation of the strategic plan.
Another notable achievement includes the continued support of the fishing industry and fishermen cooperatives to manage their resources sustainably. This includes the management of marine resources for the socio-economic development of Belize and the creation of a development plan for the deep sea fishing industry in the Exclusive Economic Zone, among other plans.

Hon. Andre Perez and the staff of the Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation are prepared and motivated to move forward with its future goals.
