On February 18th and 19th, representatives from the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government and Plenty International Belize Limited visited the villages of Machakilha and Graham Creek in the Toledo District to initiate a project entitled Indigenous Female Solar Engineers Scaling up Solar Energy to Machakilha and Graham Creek.

The Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation is pleased to announce its achievements since November 2020. The Ministry has successfully commenced the establishment of a Policy and Planning Unit to guide the process of developing the Ministry’s five-year strategic plan. Additionally, the Ministry will develop policies to facilitate the implementation of the strategic plan.

Acting DHS Dr. Melissa Musa-Diaz, who now manages the office, received an unexpected endorsement from the Belize Medical and Dental Association (BMDA).
