Taiwan Funds the Relocation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters
On March 6th, the Republic of China (Taiwan) provided support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Belize with its preparatory efforts to begin the relocation of the MFA office from the NEMO Building to the newly constructed MFA Headquarters. This support will ensure minimal disruption of provision of services to the public during the Ministry’s relocation.

Belize and Honduras Sign Air Transport Services Agreement
The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation is pleased to inform the general public that on February 28, 2020, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Hon. Manuel Heredia, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Belize, and Ms. Nicole Marder, Secretary of State in the Office of Tourism of the Republic of Honduras, signed the Air Transport Services Agreement between the Government of Belize and the Government of the Republic of Honduras.

CDB, UK to improve safety and climate resilience along arterial road on Belize’s east coast
The Governments of Belize and the United Kingdom and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) on February 24th launched the Coastal Highway Upgrading in La Democracia, Belize. The current unpaved roadway traverses mostly low-lying terrain and has poor drainage, making it impassable at certain times of the year. Climate change is exacerbating the risk of flooding in the area.

Changes in the Pump Price of Fuel Products
The price for premium gasoline and kerosene will register decreases as follows: Premium gasoline will decrease by 59 cents from $10.99 to $10.40 per gallon; Kerosene will decrease by 74 cents from $7.36 to $6.62 per gallon. The prices for regular gasoline and diesel will remain unchanged at $9.73 and $9.48 per gallon, respectively.
