Therapist needed for burn victim

Share

Burn Victim Mercy Fund is seeking a Physical Therapist in San Pedro Town who would be willing to contribute his/her skills to improve the life of a very special girl. The services of a physical therapist are needed to facilitate the releases of nine-year-old Katerin Michel Perez from Shriners Hospital for Children (Burns Center), to return to Belize. Her return home can only be determined by whether or not her therapy can be continued here. It is essential to finding a therapist able and willing to contribute to the ongoing care of the burn patient who has limited resources.Catherine-Perez-web
Perez suffered 3rd degree burns on 53% of her upper body in an incident that occurred at her home on April 3, 2015. Due to the severe conditions of her burns, Perez was flown out on Monday April 6, 2015 to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Boston Massachusetts, USA. She has remained there since receiving treatment for her burn injuries and rehabilitation therapy. While Perez is in better condition, she will still require constant care and physical therapy in order to return to some form of normality.
If you are a qualified Physical Therapist living in San Pedro, please contact 610-3890 to discuss this matter.
