Letter to the Editor: A successful blood drive in Caye Caulker

Share

Dear Editor:
The Belize Red Cross, San Pedro Branch (BRCSPB) held their first Caye Caulker Blood Drive on March 4th at the Caye Caulker Clinic. 21 pints of precious blood were collected, along with over $1100 in donations. The BRCSPB would like to extend sincere thanks to the following businesses and individuals for their generous support; Noelle Gray and volunteers, Nurse Chris Diego, Joni Miller, Principle of Ocean Academy, and the student volunteers, Caye Reef Condos, Seadreams Hotel, Seaside Cabanas, Villa Almendra, Southside Pizza, The Lazy Lizard, Sub-Away and Wish Willy’s. The Blood Drive was a huge success due to the help of these caring friends and neighbors. Thank you for helping us to “change history through saving lives and helping the community”!
Sincerely,
Laurie Norton and Sandie Betz-Eisenberg,
San Pedro Blood Drive Co-coordinators
