This week we present to you the lovely Miss Panama, Margareth Villanueva, as she joins the roster of beauties vying for the title of Miss Costa Maya International 2016. Model, entrepreneur, writer and Panamanian philanthropic, the 22-year-old has determination and conviction to achieve whatever goals she proposes.
A model from the age of 15, Margareth has done campaigns, commercials and walkways with some of the best brands in Panama. She is also one of the official candidates for Miss Panama 2017.
Her enthusiasm, love and joy for life are contagious. A volunteer at heart, Margareth began to give of her time and efforts from an early age. In 2014, she began her own movement focused on socio-environmental aid, drawing in youth to join her in activities that promote goodwill.
Margareth Villanueva joins Miss Costa Rica Monique Rodriguez, Miss El Salvador Marlin Ramirez, Miss Honduras Corina Canales and Miss Nicaragua Vianca Yasuara Gutiérrez Hernández in the quest for the title of Reina de La Costa Maya 2016, currently held by Miss Honduras Gabriela Vanessa Salazar Valle. The pageant will take place on Thursday, August 4th, the first night of the festival, at the Hon. Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex in San Pedro Town. The entertainment lineup for the festival will include Alison Hinds for Caribbean Night, Friday August 5th, and Los Super Lamas on Noche Internacional, Saturday, August 6th.
Ticket prices have been released, and the festival three-day pass for all events will be $200 for adults (12+) and $60 for children (5-11). Separately, pageant night will be $50 for adults and $30 for children, while Caribbean Night is $100 for adults and $30 for children. Noche Internacional will be $100 for adults and $30 for children.
