Little Miss San Pedro contestants officially sashed ahead of pageant
The five contestants competing for the title of Little Miss San Pedro 2026 were officially introduced during a sashing ceremony held on Friday, July 17th, at the Lions Den in San Pedro. The event marked the official start of the pageant season ahead of the competition, scheduled for Saturday, July 25th, at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium.

Caye Caulker Miss Lobster Fest Delegates Visit San Pedro Ahead of Pageant
Contestants competing in the 2026 Miss Lobster Fest pageant in Caye Caulker visited San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, on a promotional tour ahead of the July 17th pageant. Hosted by reigning Miss San Pedro Miley Chi, the delegates toured the island, participated in interviews, dined at El Fogón, and visited the Hol Chan Marine Reserve as part of efforts to promote the pageant and strengthen ties between the sister islands.

Kaili Pinelo Crowned Miss ACES 2026 During Flora and Fauna-Themed Pageant
Kaili Pinelo was crowned Miss ACES 2026 on Thursday, June 18th, during Ambergris Caye Elementary School's (ACES) annual pageant held at Sagebrush Church in San Pedro Town. Organized under the theme "Flora and Fauna of Belize," the event featured three contestants competing for the prestigious title and raised funds to support ongoing repairs and renovations at the school. Pinelo, who represented the hibiscus flower, impressed judges and audience members throughout the evening and also captured the Miss Popularity title after receiving the highest number of votes.

San Pedro Beauty Ambassador Faith Edgar Marks Second Victoria Peak Achievement
Faith Edgar, Miss World Belize and founder of the charity Smile for Belize, completed her second summit of Victoria Peak on May 8th after a grueling three-day hike through the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary rainforest. The trek forms part of her preparation for the 73rd Miss World pageant, scheduled to take place in Vietnam on September 5th.

Deaja Marin wins Miss A.C.E.S 2026 crown
The Miss A.C.E.S Pageant lit up San Pedro High School on Friday, March 13th at 7PM, drawing a large crowd to celebrate adult continuing education students under the theme “Birds of Paradise, where minds and champions soar beyond limits.” Five contestants representing evening divisions across Belize competed in the pageant: Ashanti Wade from Gwen Lizarraga Evening Division, Deaja Marin from St. Ignatius High School Evening Division, Nayeli Acosta from Independence High School Evening Division, Nircie Mejia from Clover College Extension, and Alejandrina Ranguy from San Pedro Adult Continuing Education (SPACE).

Mr. and Ms. Holy Cross Pageant Returns to the Stage
Holy Cross Anglican Primary School brought back its Mr. and Ms. Holy Cross Pageant on February 24th at 6PM, reviving the popular event after an 11-year hiatus. The evening featured 12 contestants representing the Infant, Middle, and Upper Divisions, with judges crowning a Mr. and Ms. Holy Cross in each category.

Miss San Pedro Pageant Celebrates 70 Years of Island Pageantry
It was a memorable evening on Saturday, November 29th, as San Pedro Town celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Miss San Pedro Pageant. The commemorative event highlighted memorable moments from the island’s flagship pageant, which began in 1955. Many former beauty ambassadors attended the reunion, including the very first Miss San Pedro, Leni Aguilar Alamilla.

Belize Celebrates Isabella Zabaneh’s Poise and Power at Miss Universe
The 74th Miss Universe Pageant has concluded, and while Belize did not take home the crown, Belizeans across the world celebrated Isabella Zabaneh for her outstanding performance on the international stage. The pageant, held in Bangkok, Thailand, culminated on November 21st, and Zabaneh’s poise, resilience, and representation of Belize earned admiration from supporters at home and abroad.
