Caye Caulker – Wounding
On Sunday, March 19th, Caye Caulker Police received a report of a stabbing incident, and visited a clinic on Pasero Street, where they saw a male minor of a Belize City address suffering several injuries: a stab wound to the left shoulder, right hand, as well as abrasions to the head and right hand. Investigations revealed that around 6PM, the male minor was socializing at a bar, when he got into a fight with 22-year-old Charles Robinson of San Pedro, who then inflicted injuries on the minor.
While police attempted to detain Robinson, he tried to escape from police by jumping into a boat. However, in an effort to avoid being hit by the boat, the police fired a single shot at the engine causing a hole in the engine which is valued at $30,000.00. Police investigations continue.
