Catholic Church Celebrates Día de San Pedro with Gala Dinner and Family Dance

The San Pedro Roman Catholic Church concluded its annual nine-day Novena honoring St. Peter and St. Paul on June 29th with the Fiesta de San Pedro Gala Dinner and Family Dance at the Rafael Angel Nuñez Auditorium in San Pedro Town. The celebration capped a full day of activities that included the traditional Fishermen's Mass, a Belizean breakfast in the park in front of the church, two boat processions, the blessing of the boats at Central Park, and an evening dedicated to fellowship, recognition, and family entertainment.

San Pedro Roman Catholic School Joins Nationwide “I Love My Catholic School” Walk

On Friday, February 13th, Catholic schools across Belize held the annual “I Love My Catholic School” walk. This nationwide event promotes pride in Catholic education and raises awareness and support for the sector. Among the participants was San Pedro Roman Catholic School (SPRCS), whose students, teachers, and parents represented the Ambergris Caye community in the vibrant, faith-filled activity.

Archbishop Wright Visits San Pedro’s Holy Cross Anglican Church and School

On January 14th, Philip Wright, Archbishop Primate and Metropolitan of the Church in the Province of the West Indies and Lord Bishop of Belize, made his inaugural school visit as archbishop to Holy Cross Anglican Church and Holy Cross Anglican School in San Pedro Town. Rev. Canon Barbara Rosado accompanied him.
