Old Boys and E & L FC Continue Leading Over 35 Cup
Another round of matches in the Over 35 Football Tournament saw Old Boys FC and E & L FC continue their strong performances, with both teams securing victories during Week 6. The matches, held on August 28th at the Ambergris Stadium, started at 7PM with Old Boys taking on San Mateo FC. Old Boys dominated from the opening minutes, quickly finding the back of the net. San Mateo attempted to respond through their midfield, but Old Boys maintained control and doubled their lead. From there, the goals continued as Old Boys gave San Mateo few opportunities to respond.

After winning two consecutive games at home, the San Pedro Pirates traveled to Belmopan on August 30th to face Port Layola in their first away game of the Premier League of Belize (PLB) Opening Season. The Week 5 match took place at the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) Stadium, where both teams battled to a 1-1 draw.

The San Pedro Volleyball Association hosted its Island Heat Classic Senior Female 2-on-2 Beach Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, August 15th, at Boca del Rio Park in San Pedro. The event ran from 8AM to 5PM and featured six teams competing in a double-elimination format for the top three positions and cash prizes.
