The San Pedro Belize Express sponsored football tournament commenced on February 1, 2012. The competition, organized by Mr. Ernildo Jones, football player and long time resident of San Pedro, sees the participation of eleven teams.
The competing teams are as follows: Club Latino, Joker Boys, Juventus, Shalom, Tuff E Nuff, Freelance FC, Blablazo Mechanics, Tropic Air, Arsenal, Caye Caulker and Haramouch. Gammes are being played weekly on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The eleventh game, played on February 13th ended in a decision win going to Tuff E Nuff. A fight broke out after the 45th minute of the game, after which Team Shalom walked off the field, basically giving the win to Tuff E Nuff, garnering them three points.

Organizer of the Tournament; Mr. Ernildo Jones extends an invitation to the Business Community to become part of this tournament by becoming sponsors. As sponsors, you will receive publicity on The Reef Radio on Tuesdays as well as in any publications pertaining to the competition.
The teams are competing for first place – A large trophy, medals and $1,000 cash prize; second place – Trophy, medals and $500 cash and third place – medals and $250 cash prize. Individuals wishing to contribute to the tournament may contact Mr. Jones at 605-9900.
