Local Softball Tournament’s fourth week completed

Week four of the San Pedro Town Council Softball Tournament saw another set of three games this past weekend on Sunday, February 19th. Rusties, Extreme, Sea Star, Atlantic Bank, San Pedro High School (SPHS) and Quality Reef were back on the field at the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex giving their best in order to stay in the tournament. In the next two weeks, eliminations are expected to take place, and only the top teams will remain in the competition.
The first games saw Rusties easily defeating Extreme, with a 10-3 score. Sea Star then faced Atlantic Bank. Although Atlantic Bank started the game well, Sea Star emerged victorious at the end with an advantage of 15 points, winning 20-5.
The last game for the day was between SPHS and Quality Reef. This was a tight game as both teams brought on a challenge. However, after an intense match, SPHS managed to nab their fourth victory in a 5-4 score.
SPHS continues to lead in the tournament with four consecutive wins. The standings for the other teams are as follow: Sea Star with three wins and no losses. Extreme and Rusties both have two wins and two losses. Quality Reef has one win and two losses and Atlantic Bank and Tuff E Nuff are winless.
The action continues this Sunday, February 26th with the following games:
SPHS vs Sea Star at 9:30AM
Quality Reef vs Extreme 11:30AM
Atlantic Bank vs Tuff E Nuff 1:30PM
