Team SPHS continues leading in island’s Softball Competition

The San Pedro Town Council’s Softball Tournament ended is fifth weekend of softball action on Sunday, February 26th at the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex. San Pedro High School (SPHS), Sea Star, Quality Reef, Rusties, Extreme, Atlantic Bank and Tuff E Nuff delivered another weekend of fierce sportsmanship, as the tournament nears the semi-finals.
The first match saw SPHS dominating Sea Star, easily winning 5-2. During the second game, Extreme took on Quality Reef, for another 5-2 game in favour of Extreme. The third and last game for the day was between Atlantic Bank and Tuff E Nuff. Atlantic won the match by default.
The team standings are:
SPHS 5 wins 0 loss
Sea Star 3 wins 1 loss
Extreme 3 wins 2 losses
Rusties 2 wins 2 losses
Quality Reef 1 win 3 losses
Tuff E Nuff 0 loss 4 losses.

The next set of games will be on Sunday, March 5th beginning at 9:30AM:
Rusties vs Tuff E Nuff
Atlantic vs Quality Reef
Extreme vs Sea Star.
